On Saturday, April 10th, I joined the Southern California DeLorean Club at the NDR third annual car meet and fair in Corona. This was technically my first car show with DMC #10515. (I had driven it in the 2016 Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade, but that wasn’t really a ‘car show’.)
Although five DeLoreans registered for the show, Skip chickened out because of the chance of rain, so only four D’s showed up. So, because there were “five” cars registered, the show judged the cars against a limited concours manual. (Define: concours)
Linda’s car is beautiful… she’s spent a lot of time cleaning it and getting it ready for judging. She won 1st place for the DeLorean class. And, while I didn’t actually know they were judging my car, they did… and it was in better condition than the other two cars, so… I won 2nd place. Very fun!
